The winners, nominated by the winners' supervisors and senior-level management, were selected based on their length of service, integrity, productivity, motivation, attitude and leadership abilities. RefrigiWear also honored five warehouseman with a Lifetime Achievement Award for thirty-five plus years in the indusrty. Nearly 250 nominations, the most ever received by RefrigiWear, were submitted for this year's award from a variety of industries including broadline food distribution, cold storage warehouses, food manufacturers, supermarkets and food services. The Award Process In September, supervisors from each industry that RefrigiWear serves were invited to nominate employees. This year, a record number of nearly 250 nominations were received. Award winners will receive a new ComfortGuard Utility Jacket/630 and an engraved award. All nominees will also receive a congratulatory letter and a commemorative shirt in recognition for their service and performance. 2007 RefrigiWear Catalog Calendar Winners of this year's Warehouseman Award will also be profiled in RefrigiWear's annual calendar. Each month a photo and excerpt from each winner's award submission will be featured. The calendar, which will be mailed out to warehouse customers in December, will include practical information on proper use for insulated work wear, as well tips and reminders for working in extreme conditions. The calendar will also include important industry events and helpful seasonal reminders.
