New System to Help Customers Confidently Select the Best Warmth and Protection for Hands and Feet

The new scale-based guides are designed to help customers quickly assess their choices and select the best products for hand and feet warmth and protection to match the needs of specific job applications.

RefrigiWear's entire line of insulated gloves and boots now includes an InDuraDex or InDuraSafe rating, a system developed by RefrigiWear. These indices are based on the company's extensive knowledge and experience with each product. Currently, RefrigiWear designs and manufactures all of its insulated boots and gloves.  

Insulated gloves feature an InDuraDex rating, three separate numbers, ranging from one to nine, which measures the individual product's insulation, durability and dexterity level. The higher the individual number for insulation, durability or dexterity, the higher the performance level of the product. All boots feature the InDuraSafe rating system, which is similar to the InDuraDex rating scale and measures the product's insulation, durability and slip resistance levels.

The InDuraDex and InDuraSafe rating guides are being launched in conjunction with the debut of the company's new "Gear Up" work wear accessory catalog that features 75 headwear, gloves and footwear items, including 15 new items, specifically designed to keep workers warm and protected in a full range of temperature conditions.
