RefrigiWear 2006 Catalog Now Available

Dahlonega, GA. - December 14, 2005 - RefrigiWear, the leading manufacturer of insulated industrial work wear, accessories and equipment, today announced the availability of the 2006 RefrigiWear catalog. The new catalog features RefrigiWear's complete product line of "head-to-toe" clothing, accessories and equipment to protect workers and perishables in a full range of temperature conditions.

One of the newest additions to this year's RefrigiWear catalog is the debut of HiVisibility Insulated Outerwear. Cold and dark environments are dangerous places; therefore RefrigiWear   now offers all Iron Tuff styles in HiVis Yellow and HiVis Orange. These fluorescent 100% polyester HiVis outershells with soil release finish combined with RefrigiWear's 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflective tape meet ANSI Class 3 and Class 2 Visibility Standards . All HiVis garments are comfort rated to minus 50 degrees F. HiVis colors are available in tall sizes and can be ordered without reflective tape. Embroidery on these products is also available.

900 Series/ PROGuard

The 900 Series/PROGuard line is an affordable clothing solution designed to keep meat, poultry and chilled food processing workers productive and safe. The PROGuard line features quality construction with six ounces of lightweight polyester fiberfill insulation and a durable outer shell of 200 denier nylon. Comfort rated at zero degrees Fahrenheit, the lightweight line is designed to be comfortable and durable.

RefrigiWear's Exclusive Rating Systems:   InDuraDex™ and InDuraSafe™

This year's catalog also includes a number of newly introduced insulated gloves and boots that utilize RefrigiWear's new InDuraDex™ or InDuraSafe™ rating guides. Insulated gloves feature an InDuraDex rating, three separate numbers, ranging from one to nine, which measures the individual product's insulation, durability and dexterity level. The individual numbers for insulation, durability or dexterity reflect the overall performance level of the product.   All boots feature the InDuraSafe rating system, which is similar to the InDuraDex rating scale and measures the product's insulation, durability and safety/slip resistance levels.

RefrigiWear currently offers five distinct lines of industrial insulated work wear ranging from minus 50°F to plus 50°F temperature conditions, including IronTuff Freezer Wear, ChillBreaker Industrial Activewear, ComfortGuard Bull Denim, CoolerWear and 900 series. 1927 "The Original" / 214 Glove :   Comfort rated to -10°F, the glove features a Heatkeep® soft fleece lining, grain pigskin palm and leather knuckle strap. Suited best for meat processing workers, the glove is available in sizes large or extra large and is priced at $8.50 per pair.

ArticFlex / 290 Glove:   The new standard for cold weather work gloves, the ArticFlex 290 is comfort rated to -25°F and features Heatlok™ to trap warm air next to hands and comes with a waterproof, windproof, breathable liner.   The ArticFlex 290 also features a Kevlar® reinforced knuckle area and rubber coated patches at finger tips, thumb crotch, knuckles. Ideal for workers who need extra protection in the cold, the glove is available in sizes medium, large or extra large and is priced at $30 per pair.

Boxer Safety Glasses / SG-Boxer:  The Boxer Safety Glasses feature fully adjustable extendable temples for better fit and protection with side shields molded as part of the lens, offering excellent peripheral vision. Fog resistant with a comfortable neoprene nosepiece, the glasses are constructed with durable, lightweight polycarbonate lenses with scratch-resistant coating. Available in one size and priced at $3.50.

ComfortGuard / 218 Glove: Comfort rated to -20°F the glove is constructed with a water repellent black duck material and a waterproof breathable lining. The glove also includes Heatkeep® thermal insulation and a suede cowhide reinforced palm. Listed as a value option, this glove is a good multipurpose choice. The glove is available in sizes large and extra large and is priced at $12 per pair.

CoolerWear Jacket/ 125: The CoolerWear Jacket with insulated knit collar and hand warmer pockets is now updated with a storm flap to cover the zipper, an area that takes a beating in the processing environment. This improvement will extend the life of the zipper, therefore extending the life of the garment. The jacket is available in sizes S-XXL and offered at $39.00.

Dot Premium Grip / 410 Glove:  Constructed with a heavy 24 ounce knitted double layer of terry cloth, the glove features PVC dots on both sides and is reversible for longer wear. Best for handlers working with cold products, the glove is available in size large and is priced at $2.50 per pair.

Dot Value / 210 Glove:   Made with a lightweight poly/cotton blend string knit and PVC dots on both sides, this affordable glove offers grip without the weight of heavier dot gloves. Available in size large, the glove is priced at $1.00 per pair.

HandTruck Pouch/154 DC:  This pouch features a padded back for fragile items, drain holes for items that may leak or drip and a 200 denier nylon oxford outer shell for safety. The bag attaches to a two-wheeled handcart with pouch dimensions of 13 (height) x 12 (width) by 5.25 (depth) - larger, deeper container space than other "singles" - and is equipped with quick release snaps, reducing time and effort removing and replacing the bag. HiVis Coverall/ 544 HiVis:   This coverall offers full-body coverage for the maximum in warmth and visibility. HiVis Jackoat / 342 HiVis:  This 3M Scotchlite™ reflective jackoat features oversized front pockets and an insulated patch pocket. HiVis Vest / 15HiVis:  The HiVis vest includes a longer back which provides extra warmth and also features hand warmer pockets and knit side gussets to allow for a better fit. Reflective tape that is placed vertically and horizontally across the chest and back provide enhanced visibility. This vest is available in HiVis yellow or HiVis Orange and can be ordered in XL sizes. Prices vary by sizing.

Honeycomb Value Grip / 212 Glove:   The glove features gray polyester, latex Honeycomb Grip and is reversible. Designed for warehouse workers and handlers, the glove is available in sizes medium, large and extra large and is priced at $1.10 per pair.

Neofleece Combo Clava® / 92 Mask:  A breathable fleece hood with stretch that features a soft fleece and Neofleece® facemask with neoprene to wick moisture away. The mask, which can be worn as a balaclava, an open hole mask or a gaitor, is designed with breathing holes in the mouthpiece and covers head, face and neck. Pedigree Pac Boot/113:  Shorter height, lighter weight and less bulk make this pac boot less constricting than others on the market. Comfort rated at minus 40 degrees F, this pac boot has a removable three-layer liner of polypropylene, blended felt and thermal foil. Silver Magic Mask / 57 Mask: This form fitting lightweight, soft open hole mask fits comfortably under ball caps and hard hats.
